Poetry Den Literary Collective

"Welcome to The Poetry Den where words once written on a page are now performed on stage and solidarity extends between poets and friends."

These are the words Pam Blair speaks at the beginning of every Poetry Den meeting. The Poetry Den publishes nineteen poets from the region. The poems lived on the mic, in the walls and ceilings of the Poetry Den. Now these poems come to life on the pages of the Poetry Den Literary Collective.

The Project imagined and guided by Pam Blair is a desire to create something tangible; pieces of community art and history that can live in the hands of people, coffee tables, bookstores, libraries and anywhere stories are welcomed.

The poems in this book cover a wide range of topics. Each poet contributed 3 poems. The poems are generous in spirit and voice.

The Poetry Den meets the fourth Sunday, 6:00 PM, at the Civil Rights Heritage Center, 1040 West Washington Street, South Bend, IN 46601. April 26, hear many of the poets in the book read. Follow the Poetry Den on Facebook @poetryden.
