I am fascinated by the idea of recording a scene visually with my brushes and paint. The process of plein air painting where one is continually taking in the sights, sounds, colors, shapes, and shifting light in a landscape keeps me mesmerized and completely in the moment.

I feel energized in a way that only comes when I paint! And I am constantly learning!

Whether acting in community theatre, soloing with an area symphony orchestra, teaching, or painting “en plein air”, I have always found outlets for my creative spirit. I’m so grateful for these opportunities
